Any way to retrieve my programs version #. I would like to display it in my visual basic program on the screen that asks the user if they would like to check for liveupdates.
No, the ISUS doesn't have an API to retrieve the version that the ISUS is using. However I do understand the need, and I added it to the feature request list.
What I did was include the version number in the message subject for the update. Then in my program I got the message and parsed it for the version number.
That isn't as nice as having a call to just get the version number, but it is a solution.
