Upgrading InstallShield 6.22 to 6.31

Hi there,

I have been restaging my PC yesterday and have issues upgrading IS 6.22 to 6.31.
About half a year ago I have installed IS 6.22 and via the automatic updates I ended up with 6.31 somehow.
Now I have my projects defined as 6.31 but my IS actually is the 6.22 version so I cannot open the projects any longer.

Can someone guide me through the upgrade process.

Patrick,

You should be able to use the same update process that you used before. You will first have to update to 6.30. Then, you can update to 6.31.

I believe the menu choice for "check for updates" is either on the help or tools menu.

A few months ago i was not able to update 6.22 to 6.31 because update files were missing. I have been provided with direct links to a full 6.31 install to handle this problem, but as said that was months ago, so ask them if it still isn't working the correct way.

Auto check for updates does not bring up any viable updates.
Apparently I'm not the only one having upgrading issues.

Sorry for the problem. The update message for the 6.30 release had expired. I reactived it. It should work for you now.
