Update service redistributable?

I noticed that there is an update service merge module for adding the update service to MSI packages, but is there any premade setup program for distributing it?

We don't have a prebuilt setup like that. But if you want a setup that just has the Update Service redist, you can create a setup (using Express, Developer or Professional) that only includes the Update Service runtime.
