Update service doesn't work with non US regional settings
I tried to run the update service to update IS 7.03 to 7.04 but it didn't pick up the update because my date format is not mm/dd/yyyy. I guess this is a bug in the update service - does any one know if it will be fixed?
Thanks,
Neil

Hi Neil,
Humm......That was a bug that we we ?fixed? a few months back. We tested that fix against evey type of local out there including Eastern locals where the date format can start with the year. The fix just required a change to our Update Service website to correctly interpret the dates. There wasn't any new runtime files needed.
I assume that you are checking for updates using Developer 7.03 and not seeing the 7.04 update? If that is the case, please email our dev team at updateservice@installshield.com. I would like to debug this ASAP.
Sorry about the problem.
