I have a brand new project that has "Enable Update Service" set to YES. This is because I had "Enable automatic update notification in all new projects" checked. I now want to disable the Update Service from this installation. If I change it to NO and then build my setup, I notice it includes the ISUS.msm merge module and at the end of the build, it says the Update Notification is enabled. When I go back to the Update Service page, I notice it was changed back to YES.
How do I turn this thing off? I'm running IS 11.5.
Checking no did not remove it from redistributables. However, I fixed it by doing just that. I went into the redistributables and removed it and it changed it to no (or I changed it manually to no) and it finally stayed that way.
