FLEXNet Connect Agent Installation Directory
Is there a way to tell where the FLEXNet Connect agent is installed? I've seen a couple of different locations. One location I've seen is:
c:\program files\common files\installshield\updateservice
However, I've also seen
c:\program files\common files\macrovision\flexnetconnect
is there a reg key or something you could look at to determine where the base install for the agent is? For what it's worth, I'm asking for the 6.0 version, although I don't think it matters.

Actually, in my previous post I misspoke. What I really wanted to ask is how can you tell where the data files are stored. The question is similar, except the paths that I've seen are:
c:\documents and settings\all users\install sheild\updateservice\database
and
c:\documents and settings\all users\macrovision\flexnetconnect\database
respectively. Is there any way to dynamically tell where that directory is?

I updated using the install shield wizard and the above listed page might have the information you are looking for, but not sure about that exactly.
using search in Nortons registry editor might help you locate the sub files.
I also know that just typing Flexnet on windows search yields little results.
Good luck with that. 🙂
