Detecting "Test mode" on a client machine

Hi everyone,

Has anyone try to detect, using the FlexNet Client, that the client machine on which it is running is in "Test mode" ?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Is there a particular reason you're finding yourself wanting to know if the client is in "test mode"?

For reference, test mode is enabled based on a ProductCode entry in an INI file. You could certainly validate against that file (C:\FNCTest.ini) and see if the relevant product code existed.

But if you could elaborate on what you mean more, it could make it easier to answer your question more completely.

Thanks for the response.

The reason is that I have certain verifications in my program that have to be skipped when in "Test mode"

If the FNCTest.ini is the only way then I'll use it to determine is the program is executing the agent in "test mode"
