Detecting Active Scripting disabled in IE
Hi, Does ISUS in web mode check the user's internet security settings? The particular test case is where the user has set their IE Internet Security to High, thus disabling active scripting. When the user checks for updates, the ISUS web browser window opens, but clicking the "Show Updates" button does nothing.
Windows Update detects this situation and in an IE window tells the user how to correct the situation.
We here will be addressing this issue by documenting the problem/solution in our online help. But it would be a good feature for ISUS to detect this and explain to the user how to fix it.
Regards,
Ray
