Bandwidth
I just started an evaluation of the update service.
We do all of our updates through major/minor updates. No patches since we have had problems with requests for source.
Up to now I have been building "Install for the Web" release builds to save on bandwidth for components that do not need to be installed. My understanding is that this type of build will only download needed components.
When this build is created the setup.exe is in a .cab file. How do I set up such a product in the update service UI? Should I be using a different build type?
Thanks,
Mike
