Agent.exe Not Starting
I have a client that gets an OLE Error 800700C1 evertime our application that handles updates starts. The agent.exe application (version 6.1) never starts which I assume is causing this error. If I manuall start agent.exe then my application starts and no error is reported. After a few minutes, agent.exe exits and the next time it checks for notifications the 800700C1 error is reported again.
We have tried manually removing flexnet and reinstalling but that made no difference.
Any ideas how to resolve this?

Found the answer in the knowledge base:
Open a command prompt window by selecting Start > Run. Type cmd.
Change the directory to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Macrovision\FLEXnet Connect\6".
Type "isdm.exe /regserver" and press Enter.
Type "agent.exe /regserver" and press Enter.
Type "regsvr32.exe isusweb.dll" and press Enter.
