Hello How can I get a list of the available SQL Server which are in the network? I try it with InstallScript (in a MSI Basic Project)... The code look like that: function GetServer(hMSI) LIST listID; begin listID = SQLRTGetServers( FALSE ); end; But now I don't know how I bring that in my combobox... I try it with CtrlSetList but I don't use a resource and I don't think it would work with this comand... Do you know the right command or an other way how I become all the SQL Server which are available into my Combobox? I really hope you can help me... I'm going up the walls, I try that yesterday for 8 hours -.- Thank you for your help! best regards Blueeberry

Hi Robert I found a way to read it from the Feature Table... Thank you for you answer. hActiveDB = MsiGetActiveDatabase(ISMSI_HANDLE); nResult = MsiDatabaseOpenView(hActiveDB, "SELECT Feature FROM Feature", phView); if (nResult = ERROR_SUCCESS) then nResult = MsiViewExecute(phView, 0); if(nResult = ERROR_SUCCESS) then Ok = TRUE; while(Ok = TRUE) nChars = 50; nResult = MsiViewFetch(phView, phResultRecord); if(nResult = ERROR_SUCCESS) then nResult = MsiRecordGetString(phResultRecord, 1, sFeature, nChars); FeatureGetData(MEDIA, sFeature, FEATURE_FIELD_SELECTED, nReturn, sReturn); if(nResult = ERROR_SUCCESS) then if(nReturn = TRUE) then ListAddString(lSFeature, sFeature, AFTER); endif; else Ok = FALSE; endif; else Ok = FALSE; endif; endwhile; endif; endif; endif; regards Blueeberry

Hi I hava a problem with my Install Script... But I don't know why... This is my Script: export prototype FreeSpace(HWND) function FreeSpace(hMSI) STRING sTargetDir, sCostHigh, sCostLow; NUMBER nTotalRequiredSpace, nResultValue; INT nCostHigh, nCostLow; begin //Set Variables sTargetDir = TARGETDIR; //Creat Directory for FeatureGetCostEx CreateDir(sTargetDir); //Look for size of the Feature nResultValue = FeatureGetCostEx(MEDIA, "", sTargetDir, nCostHigh, nCostLow); //This is only for look, if command does Success NumToStr(sCostLow, nCostLow); NumToStr(sCostHigh, nCostHigh); MessageBox(sCostHigh + " " + sCostLow, INFORMATION); end; When I debugg this Script the Variable nResultValue always is -132, I look in the Helpfile and there is written: -132 The specified media cannot be found. The media has been declared, but it not associated with any features. Make sure that script-created features are associated with the media. What is my failure ???? Please help me and thanks for all replys regards Blueeberry
