This error occurs if the InstallShield engine files aren't installed and registered properly.

This error occurs if the InstallShield engine files aren't installed and registered properly.

Resolution

1. Install the InstallShield engine.
2. If step 1 didn't resolve the error, try to manually register ctor.dll, which is located in the following InstallShield engine directory:
   
   C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\engine\6\Intel 32
