what is silent uninstall

before I install software on target machine ,auto uninstall the old version.

i find some advice about silent installation .what is it mean ,i can't find some using information in help.

can you help me .

A silent uninstall is where the user does not see the dialog boxes associated with the normal uninstall process. Sometimes developers use it to uninstall helper apps that are used for the main program's setup or initial running.
