problem:From Which reg entry installshield will find the version of installed product?(For product updates)

MSI maintains its own installed-product and -component information; if you need to manually test, perhaps call MsiGetProductInfo with INSTALLPROPERTY_VERSIONMAJOR, INSTALLPROPERTY_VERSIONMINOR, or INSTALLPROPERTY_VERSIONSTRING?
