I have created a patch using quick patch project. I put the original .msi file as an input for the patch. I checked the "Allow Patch to be uninstalled" in the General Information->Build Settings->Common, BUT in the add/remove program, after checking the "Show updates" check box, I cannot see the patch and therefore cannot uninstall it. Is that a notmal behaviour of installshield?
Same problem. IS 12 MSI Project. I created the patch, selected "allow this patch to be uninstalled," set it up to use windows installer 3.1, clicked "show updates" in the add/remove box, and NOTHING.
Very, very frustrating, especially when you post about bugs that affect basic functionality and nobody from IS bothers to reply.
