Hi
How to create a stand alone executable .exe file using the IS 2010?
If exist which project (Basic msi/IS) is used for it?
Can we build it using the IS 2010?

If you're asking about creating a build where everything is inside setup.exe, then yes, both project types will handle that.

I need to create a portable application (Single exe file) to launch the application directly. Which project should i select?
Example:
I have 3 folders which has library files and there is an app.exe file which run the application depending on these three libraryfolders..
So i want to copy all these file in to single exe file. On the double click on the exe file, it should actually launch the application rather than installing.

As Michael mentioned in [thread=194129]this thread[/thread], there's no project type specifically for that.
You could use either project type---as Michael says, InstallScript might be simpler for this---to decompress everything into a temporary folder and then launch your executable from there, but you'd need to decide what would trigger the "installation" to end so that the temporary files would be cleared away.
