set permissions on product registry trees

New to the installshield.
1. How can I set permissions for my products . I want to set permissions for everyone..If I don't set these permissions my applications will generate errors when we try to write to the registry.

Depending on the project type you are using, you may want to check the help for the LockPermissions table.

I don't know that there's anything built in for InstallScript projects; I haven't tried it, but for one approach perhaps see the samples under www.installsite.org > InstallScript Samples > Operating System > Setting Access Permissions...
