For the 9.0 CRT and MFC x64 merge modules, I am able to install using a regular install project. For the 8.0 CRT and MFC x64 merge modules, I have to mark "x64" in template summary for them to work. This is causing some inconvenience. Can I add those modules in a regular install and set conditions so that it will only be installed on x64 systems?
I'm not sure exactly why one would and the other wouldn't work in this scenario. However you can definitely use Release Flags to mask off the features to which the merge modules are attached.
