hi all,

can anyone provide me the advantages and disadvantages(or a link) of moving the project from installshield 12 to installshield 2008.this is very urgent.

We went from 11.5 to 14 (2008) and we found that the direct editor is a lot faster and more reliable.
And ofcourse, you get Vista support.

The Read Me First sticky at the top of this forum has hyperlinks to the release notes, which tell what's new and what's been fixed.

The sticky also has a link to the KB article that explains what to expect when you upgrade a project from InstallShield 12 to InstallShield 2008.

Im able to run the setup.exe on VISTA which is built using IS 12.so what difference(more support) would IS 2008 provide with regard to VISTA support?
