isdev.exe crashes on build on QuickPatch - help!
Hi
I have created a QuickPatch for a basic MSI, both out of Installshield 2009 SP1. The QuickPatch is pretty simple. It just updates an existing file in the basic MSI. It's an .NET 1.1 .exe assembly. Everty time I hit build I get a nasty exception and the application closes, see below.
Help!

Was this QuickPatch created in IS 2009 or an earlier version? If it was created in IS 2009, try turning of the "patch streamlining" functionality from the QuickPatch build settings and see if this changes the build behavior.
Are you able to reproduce this behavior with a sample Basic MSI project that contains the base version of the .NET assembly and then a QuickPatch project that patches the assembly?
