how to stop changing <clear/> to <clear></clear>
Hello,
I am using the XML File Changes to update the config file of a web app.
So I have
web.config
|_ configuration
|_ connectionStrings
|_ add[@ConnectionString="......]
but the config file has a before my connection string entry
which after the installation becomes causing an exception.
How can I stop this happening?
Thanks,
Akis

there is a new feature in IS2010 that allows you to do this.
In IS2010 XML File Changes view, under the advanced tab uncheck the "Format XML after changes" checkbox.
this option was added specifically for web.config files that cannot have certain tags replaced in that format.
