how to retrieve the activation code for the product InstallShield 12 version 120 that was purchased several years ago.  I cannot find any way how to do it. need it urgently. please help

I don't recall exactly whether InstallShield 12.0 (released in 2006) required online activation, but I think it did. In this case, it can't be activated anymore because the activation server has been shut down some years ago. You will have to get a newer version.
