Behind the scenes, the Express edition of InstallShield automatically handles creation of components and designates information such as key files for components.
The File Extensions tab on the Options dialog box (which you can access by clicking Options on the Tools menu) is where you can specify preferences for how InstallShield creates components. For more information, see File Extensions Tab.
