error -3204: Cannot extract icon with index 0 from file
Hi,
I am using Repackager to convert a Setup.exe to an MSI. The MSI Build conversion fails with the following error
error -3204: Cannot extract icon with index 0 from file
Looking at the following article indicates it is Cause 1
http://kb.flexerasoftware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=Q107112&sliceId=
My question is in Resolution For Cause 1
it says Open the Components view.
How do I do this?
What AdminStudio software do I use to open the Components View?
Thanks,
Paul

I have found the Components View now.
So I use InstallShield 2010 Professional to open the MSI created by Repackager and then modify the MSI and Save it and that is the final MSI?

I have figured out now to use AdminStudio Professional 2010 to view the Components.
However, when I follow step 3:
3. Expand the Advanced Settings folder under the component, left-click the COM Registration section, and expand the ProgID folder under COM Registration.
There are no ProgIDs available to expand so I can't proceed further with the instructions given.
Any ideas on what to try next?
