create single executible file

Hi,

How could I include the customized folders under sourse directory (i.e. Disk1) to the single executible file?

we usually use thepackageforweb from installshield 6.3, there is a checkbox for "Include Sub-folders" under "source folder" page, anyone could tell me what's the equivelant setting in the Installshield2009 to create a single executible.

thanks

This is still possible for InstallScript projects (which a Pro 6.3 project should have migrated to in IS 2009) on the General Options panel of the Release Wizard. This panel contains a checkbox labeled "Create a single file executable" that will compress the files/folders from the Support Files|Advanced Files view into a single EXE package at build time.

Note that Basic MSI and InstallScript MSI projects do not support compressing Disk1 contents (from Support Files|Advanced Files) into a single executable. Only the files required for the installation will be compressed (i.e. the MSI file, setup.ini, etc.).
