Xml modification
Hi
I have an xml file to be included in a msi project which I want the user to be able to edit. I can see the file in the xml changes view (and the various nodes) but cannot see how i can enable the user to modify the various aspects of the file. I'd imagined I'd have to somehow link a custom dialog control (text box or directory combo) to a given entry in the xml file. Not at all sure how to proceed. Any assistance in simple terms would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Please see, for example, the help topic "Using Windows Installer Properties to Dynamically Modify XML Files"; your custom MSI dialog box would populate a property (MY_EDIT_FIELD, say), and you would then use that expression [MY_EDIT_FIELD] in the XML data...
