Windows 8 - Laungaue issue
Hi,
Our installshiled project support multi-langauge (including French, excluding Arabic)
The machine is installed with Windows 8 French OS. A language pack of Arabic is installed over it.
When we install our product - in the attached image you can see the language is French. We expect it to be English since Arabic is not supported and the default text of Arabic should be English.
Why it is French instead of English?
Thanks
Haim

if you have not enabled language dialog under releases, then it always shows system language and not the default language of the setup. It shows the native language of the operating system.

Thanks Shekar for the reply.
If the system language is French and the OS Language pack is Arabic - shouldn't the IS dialog text be Arabic? For my understanding the Arabic overrides the French.

i believe system native language overrides it, unless we manually force it through use of language selection dialog.
