Why is QuickPatch changing path

log says:
MSI (c) (84:5C) [11:11:53:569]: PROPERTY CHANGE: Adding MergeRedirectFolder.85836CB0_33D0_4C53_A8C0_679271558268 property. Its value is 'C:\Program Files\test\ApplicationServer\Admin\ClientInstall\WebServices\AppBuilds\3.3.1.458.0_Admin'.

The patch is only trying to replace/update 3 files. One in the GAC, one in the versioned folder and one in the versionedadmin folder.
I noticed that the new msi file created by the patch list the 2 folders this way in the Directory table:
VERSIONEDADMIN APPLICATIONSERVER versio~1|VERSIONEDADMIN
VERSIONEDFOLDER1 APPLICATONSERVER Versio~1|VERSIONEDFOLDER

This looks to me like InstallShield is using the short name and confusing the 2.

Also the patch is adding Features that were not installed, is anyone else having these problems?
