What triggers the "Upgrade" message I get during the install. I have two .ism's where one originated from the other. The original one never asks the upgrade question but the new one does.
I have Upgrade node in both set to prompt and major upgrade to completely uninstall.
I also bump the version number (in both) from values like 6.0.470 to 6.0.471.
What else should I compare why one triggers the message and the other doesn't?
If nothing else, you might try creating and comparing log files for the two installations; or use InstallShield's MSI Diff tool to compare the project files if you're using the binary .ism format or a text diff tool for XML format...
