Vista platform condition
Hi,
I'm actually using IS 10 Universal and want to detect Vista with a custom platform condition. As IS 10 predates Vista there's no predefined check but I wonder if there is one in 11.5? I need to know the values I should check for such as os.name, os.arch etc. Are they in IS 11.5? If not, does anyone with Java experience know what values I should put in my custom platform condition?
Thanks.
Phil.

One way is to (temporarily) edit a dialog box to contain the expressions $J(os.name), $J(os.arch), and $J(os.version), and then running the installer on a Vista system to see what the value are. You could then try using those values in your custom platform condition.

Nice idea. I'll give it a go.
