Vista Game Explorer

Has anyone used InstallShield 2009 to have a dual short-cut installation??

The normal "Program Files\Company\Game\Game.exe" for Windows XP... and then for Windows Vista install a short-cut in the Games Explorer... utilizing the GDF creation tool with DirectX?

The online help for Microsoft little vague and I can't figure out how to get the InstallShield installation to install correctly on both XP and Vista.

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks...

Seriously... no one has created an install package for Windows Vista and utilized the Game Explorer Channel??

Cannot say that I have ever done that, and I have done some funky things with shortcuts.

I've never done it but I know the WiX people ( Bob Arnson works in the games division or whatever it's called )

Basically it sounds like you need to write Custom Actions because this is yet another platform feature that MSI doesn't support.
