Using Scripts / Support files
Hi,
This is a pre-recorded message.
We have made a few helper shell-scripts that could come handy in our installer (ISMP 11.5); these scripts are not a natural part of the installed product.
Does anyone know...
How can a support script be conveniently referenced (using a variable, for instance), or must a custom code be written to call it ?
How can a "support script" get executed in ...
1. ...a Pre-Install sequence ?
2. ...a Pre-Uninstall sequence ?
Thanks a lot for reading!

For a pre-recorded answer, please see the MultiPlatform help topic "Using Support Files"; you can use that code in a custom bean (placed in whatever sequence you want) to manipulate files you've added to the Support Files view.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply.
I had infact read that help topic prior to posting here, but was hoping a more convenient way exists. It seems custom code is needed to fetch all support files and copy them one by one to a folder on the target machine when they can be used...
Thank you !
