Upgrading Previous Version
Hi!,
I have created a single executable setup in InstallShield 2008. Some weeks ago i created a release with version 0.8.0. Now I m creating a release version 1.0.0 but the problem is, If version 0.8.0 is already installed in the system, and I want to install 1.0.0, I gives the message to upgrade the previous version. The installation completes successfully!. But actually it does not upgrade files. I have set the property of files to Always Overwrite to true.
Please help me how to upgrade previous version (if available).

Have you changed the package code?

Did you intend a major upgrade or a minor one? Have the file versions in the executable files changed? Did you log the upgrade to see if it gives you any relevant information?
