Upgrade Uninstall Not Removing Old Features
Help! I felt I successfully created my Upgrade. I install version 1.0 of my product. Now I am upgrading to 1.2. I am basically just adding features. It upgrades (reinstall) just fine.
However, then I uninstall, it leaves behind the features from the 1.0 install. What have I dont wrong!? It also leaves behind the shortcut on the desktop, which I believe is related to leaving behind the 1.0 product. Why is it not removing everything?
Thank you in advance

Update:
It seems that it is not performing the complete uninstall first. I have the setting checked to completely uninstall old setup first. How can I force or check that this happens?

Resolution:
Well, if it can be helpfully to anyone, somehow the "detect only" flag in the advanced major upgrade settings got set to yes. Thats why my message was always indicating it was going to perform an upgrade but it never seemed to actually do the uninstall. So, double check that flag if your having a similar problem.
