Uninstallation

I am using an Installscript MSI project. In that I have added a shortcut icon for uninstallation (feature provided by install shield).

But it is seen that during uninstallation using this shortcut, the program is not deleted from add/remove programs. Is there anything additional to do for that?

Does this shortcut run a msiexec.exe or a setup.exe command line? For InstallScript MSI projects, the latter is correct, and the former could result in the symptom you mention...

How did you create the uninstallation shortcut?

Based on the issue that you described, it sounds like your implementation matches the first one, but it should probably match the second one.
