Uninstall troubles

I want to ask the user if they want to keep their preferences when they uninstall but I can't get any window to come up up when remove is clicked in windows it just does it on it's own. Although I have gotten this to work correctly when the installer is launched again. Just noting that Change and repair are disabled.

An uninstall launches silently from A/RP, so if you're doing anything to handle this issue in the InstallUI Sequence, it won't be run from A/RP.

Well how do I make it launch what I want and not run silently from Add/Remove Programs

I'm not sure that you can. You might instead want to add your logic to the Execute sequence instead of the UI sequence of your project, if possible.
