Uninstall previous version in the beginning of the new version installation

Can any one show me how to uninstall a previous installed version in the beginning of the new version installation?
I like to uninstall the previous version in the same installation of the new version without exiting.
I'm using InstallShield 2012 for my installer.

You should author a major upgrade and schedule the RemoveExisting products action in the correct place.
