Uninstall hangs - what could the reason be?

I upgraded my project from IS 2010 to IS 2013. My project installs successfully, but on uninstallation it seem to hang and eventually I have kill the task.

I am not sure what I should be looking to troubleshoot this issue and fix it.

Any help is appreciated very much.

Run uninstallation with verbose logging enabled. The log should shed lights on where it hung.
