Unable to install InstallSheild

I am attempting to install InstallShield2012SPRLimitedEdition.exe and get the following error:

C:\Users\jddevight\Downloads\InstallShield2012SPRLimitedEdition.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Does InstallSheild need to be installed on a 64-bit OS? If so, is there a version that is supported on a 32-bit OS and how can I get it?

InstallShield is a 32bit app. Perhaps your download failed. Do a properties on the file and see if it has a valid digital certificate.
