Unable to do InstallShield 2012 light updates

I have visual studio 2012 limited edition.
When I go to INSTALLSHIELD LE and choose Check for Updates, I get this warning:

"The product code is either not registered on the server or it is invalid. Contact the administrator of your FLEXnet Connect account"

I had to activate my install in order to even use it, and that accepted fine. The product runs within visual studio 2012 (win 7 or 😎 and I am able to build releases.

Any ideas how to resolve this? Is there no way to update installshield LE?

Hi,

I understand that you would like to check for updates and that is throwing an error.

Hello,

I have raised this issue to our engineering team and they are working on the same.I would be able to give you more information once I hear from them

However could you please help me understand what is the download link or update file that you looking for?

isn't there any hotfix or update to fix the vs 2012 rc crashes or the "check for updates..." function?
