Un-Installation is not working in vista System.
Hi all,
I am created one setup by using Installshield 2009 pro in win XP OS. It is working good in XP both Installation and Unallation. but UnInstallation is not working in Vista system.
When Uninstalled in Vista OS,The Icons, Program menu list and the Files are not removed.
But in Program list in Add/Remove Program is not exists.
How can I achive Un-installaion in vista system.
Thanks & regards,
Murthy

Uninstall on Vista should work like uninstall on XP or any other OS. Have you logged the uninstall to see if the log file gives you any hints as to the issue?

I had same kind of problem. It is due to UAC, which was enabled in my case. It worked fine if I disabled the UAC.
The work around is create MSIDEPLOYMENTCOMPLIANT Property and set its value one.
