Tell me what I need to do this

I have InstallShield Express 2008 and I am not sure I can do this, if I cannot what version of InstallShield will allow me to do this?

I need to detect a previous version of the software and preferably run the uninstaller, or worse case stop the current install. I want to make sure there is no entry for the old program in the Add/Remove Programs screen.

Can I do this in InstallShield Express or do I need Professional or Premier?

In InstallShield Express, you can use the Upgrade Paths view under the Organize Your Setup section to configure a major upgrade which will remove previous versions of products.
