Studio 2010 with Installshield LE- MSI for deployment via AD
I have a VB 2010 applicaiton that I have created. I have created an Installshield LE project for deployment.
Is there a way to have Installshield LE create a MSI file for installing with Group Policy in AD? Is so, how?
Thanks
Jeff

Hi Jeff,
To generate only a MSI you could navigate to the “Releases” view of the ISLE. Kindly select the type of the release from the drop down menu that lists Single Image, DVD-5 others and this menu is present in the tool bar.
In the Releases view click the type of release selected and in the “Build” tab select the “Compressed” option for “Compression”. In the “Setup.exe” tab choose “No” for the setting “Setup Launcher”.
Build the project and this would result only in a MSI present in the release folder.
