Stand Alone Builder\Automation product - Where is the documentation \ samples?

I am trying to use the 2014 StandAloneBuilder installation and the script automation tool.

I am not getting the merge modules to load correctly, there is no tool to set the Merge Module search path. I tried following these older instructions for registry entries but they did not work...

I also find some forum entries talking about setting command line entries; but there is no command line program installed...

Does anyone know where the documentation for this product or any sample scripts using the automation objects are?
