Splash Bitmap Images Quality
I have created a high resolution image for my splash screen which looks great but when the installer loads the images look awful. The colors are different and the image is pixelated.
I file is a .JPEG image but have tried various others to no avail.
Images Properties
Install Shield 2014 Express
Size is 499x312
Resolution, tried both 72 & 120 DPI as well as 16, 24 & 32-bit
formats tried are JPEG, BMP & PNG
I have also tried other installers but the same happens.
Any ideas

Then I read the proextender guide on https://peninja.com/my-proextender-review-and-results and that did the trick.

This is happening to my pics too. I think it may be something to do with compression and reducing file size. Anyone know how to fix this to keep images at their normal resolution?
