We are used in building large package (1 or 2 Gb once uncompressed) :eek: We often meet problems with our customers who don't have enough disk space to uncompress or to finish to installation (not enough disk space once the setup is launched)
Could you give me a method in order to specify manually the TEMP folder when installing the product ( I could give a workaround to ITs :cool: ) I tried to set msiexec parameters (SOURCEDIR, TEMPFOLDER) manually, but my setup always decompress in %USER%/AppData/etc....
you can try to use CD-ROM type uncompressed package with manually created CAB files (cabarc tool), then you can uncompress your CABs manually at installation time.
