Why Express edition doesn't support Single MSI package in the Installation Interview ? I used to make the installation package using Single MSI package when I was using IS Professional (trial version) , but my manager is suggesting to buy IS Express , so is there a way to make .msi package ?
You can create a single compressed MSI package with Express by going to the Build Your Release view in the Installation Designer, select the SingleImage release, and set the "Setup Launcher" setting to No on the Setup.exe tab. Building this release after changing this setting will build a single MSI package instead of a single compressed setup.exe.
