Simple Quest - InstallScript Installer Log File
Hello,
This is probably a really simple & stupid question but I have not been able to find where the installation log is put for an InstallScript project (I am not using MSI).
Can anyone tell me where to look for the log file and what it is named? I looked in the help but only find information in MSI install logs.
Thanks,
Mike

Readable log files are not created by an InstallScript installer. There is a log file created under \InstallShield Installation Information\ named SETUP.ILG, but that one can only be read with the Log File Viewer program that ships with InstallShield.
You will need to add your own logic to create an ASCII log like an MSI installer creates.
