Silent installation and XML modification
Hi,
is it possible, that a Basic MSI (Web Project) setup doesn't do every custom action when it's run in silent mode? I noticed that it didn't make any XML modifications, but ran for example a shell command accurate ...
Does anybody know something about that?

First of all i would like to know where you have sequenced your custom actions? Is it there in UI sequence or execute sequence?
Basically the UI sequence doesn't get executed during silent installation.

A verbose log may help you troubleshoot the issue. KB article Q104807 explains how to create the log.
