I created an installation package using Installshield 10- Basic MSI project, then I tried to run silent installation: Setup.exe /s /v"/qn", but it didn't work. As I know, there is no need for response file in MSI. did I miss anything?
"Didn't work" is a little vague, and anything that only occurs if the InstallUISequence runs is a potential culprit. I would suggest starting with a verbose installation log by running this instead; examine it for clues and see where you can get. Setup.exe /s /v"/qn /l*v\"%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\Install.log\""
